Frankly, it's none of his business what you did when you two were
apart.
You Did Nothing Wrong
As long as you ARE NOT cheating on him and sleeping with someone
else while you are with him, it's none of his concern. You did nothing
wrong by sleeping with someone (or some "two") else when
you two weren't together, so don't feel guilty about not telling
him.
