Question

Dear Panel,

...She assured me that she had strong feelings for me as well, but she just wasn't ready. She also said that she wants to continue to date me.

Should I just continue to date her, hoping that she will change her mind?

Dear Panel,

I recently fell for this girl who I've been seeing for a while.

I've Fallen For Her

I've never felt feelings like I have for her before. It's gotten to the point where all I can think about is her. I told her how I felt about her and that I wanted to be together even though she lives in Las Vegas (a good 4 hours away).

She's Not Ready For Love

She told me that she wasn't ready for a relationship and that she needed to focus on herself and her career. She said that getting in a relationship with me would make her concentrate all her time and focus on me.

She also assured me that she had strong feelings for me as well, but she just wasn't ready. She also said that she wants to continue to date me.

I Don't Want To Date Others

I am not the type of person to date many people. If I find someone I like and want to be with I just date them. I really want her, but I can't have her. I'm currently dating other people, but it's really not fair to them because I love this other girl and want to be with her.

We still talk on the phone everyday and my feelings just continue to grow. Should I just continue to date her, hoping that she will change her mind? Do I focus my attention on another girl, even though my heart is still with her? Please help.
